  • 300 grams ladyfinger biscuits
  • 500 grams mascarpone cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1.5 cups strong coffee
  • 3 tablespoons coffee liqueur
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

    Brew strong coffee and mix with coffee liqueur, let cool.

    Separate eggs. Beat yolks with half the sugar until pale.

    Fold in mascarpone cheese until smooth.

    Beat egg whites with remaining sugar to stiff peaks.
